New Google AI Can Have Real Life Conversations With Strangers

At its 2018 I/O developer conference, Google showed off some updates coming to Google Home and Assistant. One feature — Google Duplex — can make phone calls for you and talk to the person on the other end to schedule appointments and make reservations. Google says the feature will roll out as an experiment over the coming weeks.

  1. so why cant my assistant understand me most of the time, i don't think this system is good to have ai call and ask for bank info , etc.. will get in the wrong hands..

  2. Seriously I have know a lot of people from other countries that can speak english very fluent with normal accent but why the heck I haven't known anyone from India that actually can?

  3. Now they have recently created their voice assistant that is installed on your phone that does not use wifi. The entire software is inside your phone and it is much faster and natural. It is installed only on the newest phones.
